Thaw occupies a suite of 13 cells in the Mattewan Prison. They aro fitted liko a house. Ho has a business office, and receives food from hotels. While ho is getting this exceptional treatment, the rest of the prison is oyercrowded. Thaw is being detained on tho supposition that reenrring attacks of homicidal mania aro to bo expected. A recont attompt to secure his release failed.
