MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Tho fortnightly meeting of the Miraraar Borough. Council was held last night, thore being pr.csent—Tho Mayor (Mr. C. J. Crawford), and. Councillors Bell, Brodie, Witt, M'Lood, East, and Cooper. Permission, was granted to Mrs. I D. K. Blair to tnalre ■, a footway as an access to her section on Overton Road, tho work to bo carriod out. according to tho specifications of the borough ongineer. The. city electrical engineer wrote suggesting that in order to remove tho cause of complaints received as to the overcrowding of the 5.6 p.m. Seatoun-Wellington workers' car another car,bo placed on tho running, to leave, two • minutes before tho workers' car. The suggestion was referred to tho Borough, Tramways Committee.
