This afternoon there is to bo a sale of cake, candy, and flowers at tho new hostel which has boon taken-by the Private Nurses' Association, 237 Willis Street, and this will afford an opportunity for the. friends of the institution to see over the premises. ■" Dominica " went up yesterday evening, and found pre-parations-going on busily, for tho sale. Flowers for the flower-stall were arriving-in huge baskets, and each load seemed moro beautiful than those that had come before. It was not'long before every available tub and basin was filled with them, and a borrowing policy 'had begun. The sale is being held with a view to raising funds for the furnishing of tho hostel. Mrs. Hislop is to open the home, and Dr. Valintinc will also give an address. .
