Tho "Pall Mall Gazetto" says that the appointment of a naval officer (Admiral* Sir Harry Rawson) to' tho Governorship of New South Wales is'such a signal success that it is rumoured that Sir D. Bosanquet will succeed Sir Harry .Rawson. Sir D. Bosanquet 1 will be likely to continue the good relations established by Sir Harry Rawson. Moreover, his wife is a perfect hostess. Admiral Sir Day Hort Bosanquet, born March 22, 1843, was Commandor-in-Chi'of of the West Indian station from 1901 to 190G, and in the latter year was -appointed Commander-in-Chief at Portsmouth. He married in 1881 a daughter of the late Colonel T. Bromhoad Butt, Cameron Highlanders. .
