HIGH PERCENTAGE FOR PHYSICAL REASONS. Mr. Haldauo has informed Mr. Thome, the Labour member for West Ham (South), that the number of men who orffered themselves for onlistmont into the Regular Army in several important ccntres and tho number of such men who wero rejected for physical reasons during, tho. year ended September'3o, 1007, were' as follow:—
Thus, Manchester has had .the highest percentage of _ rejections, 'and Sheffield the smallest, whilo of the ten centres only threo have smaller percentages than London, ono of those being Glasgow, tho metropolis "tying with Edinburgh.
