Tho annual report and balance-sheet (which have already been published in The Dominion) were adopted, after which seven new members were elected. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows:—President, Mr.' H. D. Bell, K.C., captain, C. Pearce; -deputy captain, A. h! Barnett; secretary, J. E. Widdop;-treasurer, A. D. Bayfield (all "re-elected) ; match committee: 'J..E. Widdop, N. Galbraith, and-C. Pearce.; auditors, W. H. -Morrah," H. E. Richards (both re-elected); committee :■ A. T. Bendall, D. i D. Menzies,' C. A.. Knapp, W. R. C..Oswin, C. E. .Bridge, and. A...5. Biss (all re-elected); club race committee: W. H. Harrington, A. H. Barnett, A. H .Hollis, E. N. F. Morgan, C. Pearco; club bouse committee: H.S.. Barron, C.. E. Bridge, J. Dudley, A. H. Hollis, G. Innes, J. Kerslake, W. H. Harrington. ; The following names were added to the list of life,members:—Active: W. E. Bendall, J. G. Duncan, J. Stephens, ,C. Young; honorary: L, E. Woolcott, H. J. H. Eliot, Colonel Hume, K. V. Hume, Li G. Mackay, W. G. Rew, L. 0. H. Tripp, F. L. Biss, A. E. Dean, R. S. M'Gowan. Other, matters wore dealt with as follow:— It was decided to thank Mr. J. Stephens for. his offer to donate a trophy for competition for junior sculls; tho secretaiy. and treasurer were awarded a bonus of, £25 to be equally divided between them; and two suggestions with reference.to opening day.: (a) that the' programme be the. same as last year, or (b) that a fancy carnival be held—wore ordered to be ; forwarded to the Wellington .Rowing Association. . :
