Diligent soarch by the dotectivp staff failed tp trace the goods, but yesterday Detective Cnssells and Acting-Detective Bailey paid a visit to q ftearper in port and there found the greater portion of the property that had been stolen, Tho articles were found in two lockers in the firemen's gutters of the vessel, and one pf the firemen was subsequently arrested on a charge of having stolen tlsem; ' ' *
