THE DISABLED HAWEA.
STILL NO NEWS. (BV telegram—press association—coitright.) (Rec. August 28, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, August 27. ■ The tug Champion sailed .'this morning to resume her search for the Hawea. The boat's crew of tho Hawea which landed at Lord Howe Island have returned to Sydney.
OPERATIONS OF SEARCH FLEET. (BX TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT). ' Duncdin, August 27." The tug Advance has _ reported at Capo Byron that , she saw no sign of tho Hawea, and the tJnion Company have recommissioned her for another ten days. She will zigzag up as far as Brisbane, where she will re-coal if tho Hawea is, not then found, and'como down again. Tho Flora and Rakanoa will stand away to the north and east, tho Flora making o long leg to tho eastward, and then to tho westward. There aro threo tugs and three steamers engaged in the search.' Tho Aparima, which passed Thursday Island yesterday, bound for Auckland, is considered to have a good chance of picking tho Hawea up.
