DAIRYING IN AUCKLAND.
The mild weather that has prevailed during the present month (says our Auckland correspondent) has resulted in a splendid growth of., grass in the country -districts. One of tho instructors attached to the dairy division' of the Agricultural Department, who has ■ been travelling all , through tlio Auckland Province, reports, that there is every prospect .of a most favourable .dairying season. Ho noted with satisfaction that dairy farmers throughout the' province were culling out their herds liberally, and replacing inferior animals with good stock. Many herds were being increased, and a number of new dairy farms were being established.
