AT THE MERCY OF A • COMBINE. ■ Recent Australian papers published the following news from Perth: — ' "Further developments have occurred with, respect to the combination to raise the price of moat. " A Perth retailer, who bought for cash and .disregarded the selling prices fixed by the combine, yesterday had his meat supplies refused at the wholesale depots on tho ground that - tho retail' Association - bad " black-listed " him. Ho threatens ..'legal action. " Small graziers who desired to soil fat lambs now ready for market 'complain that they aro unable to sell because the wholesale dealers aro resolved not to buy. lamb before the 26th inst.*, and retailers daro not."
