t The Friendly Societies Bill-was the cause of considerable discussion at the usual fortnightly meeting of Lodge Britannia, M.U., 1.0.0. F., on Monday evening. Generally the Bill appeared to be satisfactory, as was shown by tho tenor of several addressos by those officers who have had the matter before them. Bro. H. E. Osborne and there was an average attendance of members. A proposal was roceneu im;.. m« Dispensary Board re supplying medicine at Newtown. It was decided to take a plcbescite of members by next summoned night to inquire, what support would bo : given;Three candidates were initiated -into tho Order, and one proposal for membership waa received.
