CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
The monthly mooting of tho Wellington and Wairarapa Charitable Aid Board, was held yesterday, there being present:—Tho Chairman (Mr. R. C. Kirk), and Messrs. F. Cohen, W. H. Jlorrah, and A. Coles. A letter wa3 recoived from tho general secretary of tho Y.M.C.A., Wellington (Sir. H. N. Holmes), asking the Board to recommend for admission to tho Rotorua Sanator. ium a young man who, after about five years' residence in Now Zealand, had come to tlio end of his lesources owing to continued illness. It was stated that he would be able to pay £1 Is. per week towards his maintenance at Rotorua. Tho Board decided to acccdo to tho roquest., . Accounts amounting to £1451 Is. 9d. wera passed for payment,
