Port Darwin, August 22. ' Messrs. .Dutton, A linger, and Allchurch have arrived from Adelaide by motor car. Both men and machine aro in excellent condition after the long, hazardous journey across Australia. The journey was accomplished on one set of tires.

Tho party had some . trying experiences among tho sandhills! They bad~a second car, which was sent by rail from Pine Creek. It, too, stood the journey, excellently, though exposed to a tropical sun and rain.
