A NEW DOG.
In tiny handbags, in wicker baskets, in portmanteaux, in wooden cases, in portable kennels, carried in motors, in cabs, in wagons, camo recently to Regent's Park tho largest and most varied collection of dogs ever seen at the Botanic Gardens. The dogs, which grow to tho size of St. Bernards,' aro as gentle a3 a St. Bernard, but aro incomparable, both as' watch 'dogs and sheep dogs.. Tho.colour is white, dappled with mouse and tail; a rim of tho darker colour always encircles the. black eyo and gives tho dog a quaint and wiso air of meditation. Their introducer is Mrs. Van Ness. It Would be safe to prophesy a rage for tho species.
