MASTERTON
A commission, composed of Messrs'. W. P. James, S.M., R; Beetham, and J.M. Coradine, sat here yesterday to settle a dispute between the District 'Hospital Board and the Hospital Trustees over tho current year estimates. Tho Commission uphold almost wholly the trustees' estimates as tho past four months' working of the institution shows the amounts set down to have been justified.
A man named Patrick M'Kay was sentenced to , three months' imprisonment with hard labour yesterday for indecent language. Mr., Eli Smith, J.P., was on the bench.
