The annual business'meeting of the Maryborough Presbyterian Church was held on .Tuesday evening. ■ Notwithstanding tho very unfavourable weather conditions thoro was a very good attendanco .of members and adherents. The Pahaoa service's during tho summer were well-attended,' and the fortnightly service at Burnside had been maintained. Tho minister officiated at ten marriages. Fifteen children and two adults had been baptised. Thero was a net gain of nino tj tho membership for tho year. Tho financial statement disclosed a very healthy state of affairs. Tho total income was £358 lis. lOd. Of this sum £226 was paid to tho minister for stipond, and £20 was sent to missions. The church extension schemo received £11 45., and the remainder of the incomo, went toward tho Sunday school support and tho general working expenses. The : following were clccted a committoo of management.for tho year: Messrs. W. I. Martin, A. Nicol, M'Gregor, Jolly, Hardio, Heycock, and Lewis. Musical items were interspersed with tho proceedings, and tho ladies provided refreshments at tho meetI ing's close.
