MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

A largo audience attended the Missions to Seamen Institute last night, when tho weekly ambulance meeting was held. Tho missioncr (Mr. James Moore) showed tho different methods of carrying injured patients, and also gave several useful hints relating to health matters. Competitions in connection with _ ambulance work wero won by sailors from ships in port. A much appreciated programme of music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Eose, tho following contributing items;— Song, Mrs. Page; song, Mr. Page; recitation, Mr. Brown; song, Miss Page; song, Mrs! Eose; duet, Mrs. and Miss Page. Every item was encored, and the performers were accorded a hearty voto of thanks.
