■; "HUMPTY-DUMI'TY." >Another crowded house' greeted the fourth production of "Humphy-Dumpty" at tho last night. Tho gorgeous stage spectacle has had few equals in Wellington previously, and the wheel of life was repeatedly encored last night. Mr. Cusbing again pleased' the audience as King Solium and nightly improves in Mr. Bert Gilbert's role. - . • • . Good bookings are being; received by the Dresden Company for tho remainder of the "Humpty-Dumpty" season.' THEATRE ROYAL. The company 'appearing at the Theatre Royal under the/Fuller banner was further strengthened last night ; when. Clarry Lydon and Alice AVren made, their first appearance man. amusing skotch - entitled : ' 'Riloy's Mistake." Some exceptionally good comedy was introduced, but the star item of the "turn" was a, ■ skipping ■ rope danco which, literally speaking, brought , the house down. A new biography film of more than ordinary interest will be shown to-night. This will reproduce the Dieppo motor-car raco. . Tho film has just come to hand by the. Vancouver mail, and had not yet been shown i a , tlJ l, part Australasia. • On Saturday, night the company will bo strengthened by the addition of Master Byron, a soprano vocalist, and Miss Lorraine Tansloy. ', HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. . . 10 judicious blending of amusement and instruction in the pictures thrown on the screen at His Majesty's Theatro has caught the public taste, and full houses greet tho managerial eye every evening. The now pictures which aro being shown at present are a particularly , well-selected set, tho variety being such as'to guarantee, satisfaction to all comers. An excellent picture is ono shmving tho prize-takers at tho Paris Dog Exhibition. "Moscow under Water" is a fine scenic study, showing with 'every - detail a flood in Russia. The comic pictures aro all excellent, and keep the houso in a constant state of laughter. "His First Frock Coat" and "The Chauffeur's Dream" aro two of the cleverest pictures of tho series of remarkably bright and wellselected films. Tho Saturday matinee has become popular at His, Majesty's, and another is'announced for to-morrow afternoon. OLYMPIA SKATING RINK. Tho adverse weather did not prevent a large number from attending the Olympia Rink yesterday, particularly at the evening session. Both sexes entered into tho exhilarating pastime very enthusiastically. Tho band, which is in attendance in the afternoons and evenings, adds enjoyment to tho proceedings. A children's matinee will be held to-morrow morning. Jupp's Band gave a free public concert at the Town Hall last ovening. The attendance was limited by the weather. . Arch's moving pictures, a capitally assorted Jot, wero oxhibited at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, >last evening, before an appreciative audience. I
