Brussels Sprouts. : Trcaclo Pudding. TREACLE PUDDING (No. 1). Ingredients.—ilb. flour, Jib. suet, or dripping, or butter,i teaspoonful carbonate of soda, salt, Joz.. ground ginger, 1 gill treacle, J pint milk, 1 egg. • ' Method.—Chop Jib. suet as finely as possible, and put it into a basin with the flour, carbonate of soda, and- ginger; Beat up the egg, mix the. treacle and milk with it, and stir this into lho;ynxture'in the basin. Add more milk if required to make the pudding moist. Grease a basin thoroughly, put pudding' mixture 1 into it, and cover , with a greased paper. Have enough boiling water to come half-way up the basin in a saucepan) and steam for two hours. FOR TO-MORROW. Toad-m-a-hole, .vegetable marrow, 1 pint milk, tomato soup, prunes, rice. • V SUNDAY. •Lamb and mint sauce, cabbage, potatoes, 3 lemons, pastry, cornflour, Jib. raisins, lib. cooked potatoes, rhubarb tart, mint. SUPPER. Rabbit pie, scones, celery, cheese.
