Among a collection of autogra- letters and documents offered for sale in 1, otheV day there turned up a fade- ' history relating to an event in 1 which interest,never dies. It consist a London correspondent) of 12 page manuscript, closely written, in which 1 Pipon relates the story of the disci mutineers of the Bounty on Pitcairn It was in 1790 that tho mutiny, headeu "Li Fletcher, Christian, took place. For dearly 1 quarter- of a century no trace of the'era was forthcoming,and the loss of the shj*\\v.'' all on board was assumed.' In the;,-' of 1814 a passing ship anchored otH Island, and the mystery was "solved!-j porting the discovery, Captain- Pip, scribes the condition of-the communi j sisting, with ono exception, of womi| children.The exception was Fletcher 4 tian, who had assumed, the name c ,( Adam. Under liis direction the little " became a model of industry, social order, , morality. The arch-mutineer died" in 15-,l 5 -, at' the age of 65, and was buried on island. ._ 1,
