_ If-n mother can toach her children that it is what a.man is, and not what ho has, that entitles him to respect, and helps them to live up to the noble ideal that she sots before them, sho has done tlicm a servico tha't will benefit them all their livos. Wo aro expressly told that, "tho life is - more than meat, and the body, than raiment," and vot how many of us act as if what wo ate and what we wore wore tho all-important points, end tho inner life, that those things aro meant to nourish and minister to, was of no importance whatever.
