ARBITRATION COURT.
GOAL MINING DISPUTES. (B•; TELEGRAPH —rit ESS ASSOCIATION.) Ounedin, August 18. At tho Arbitration Court to-day the dispute between tho Taratu Coal Co. nnd tho minors was heard. A confcrence was held a few months ago, when most of tho clauses in tlio dispute were settled, the remainder being brought beforo tho Court. Tho clauses not settled woro: Shift wages, weighing coal, tonnage rate, stentons, pillars, cross-cut, headings, head coal, trucking, and truckers' wages. After hearing tlio evidence the Court reserved its decision. The Allnndale dispute will bo beard tomorrow.
