A.largely-attondcd meeting of tho Canterbury branch of tho Associated Society of Railway Servants was held yesterday for tho purpose of considering tho position of the strikers of 1890, as to their back timo counting for tho purposes of superannuation. Strong feeling was shown at the action of the' Kxccutivo in not taking advantage of Sir Joseph Ward's offer to allow the Society to buy in their back timo for £1500, and it was decided .to send delegates 'to' all the branches in the Dominion to placo tho position of the strikers beforo the members. .
