GREYTOWN NOTES.

After having bright days and sharp frosty mornings, < a ohango' has taken place, and yesterday was cold and wet.' Mr. D. C. Humphroy, manager hero for Messrs. Veitcli and Allan, drapers, etc., is about to'leave tho district to tako up farming in the far north. Mr.' Oliphant, is to succeed Mr. Humphroy here. Tho' meet of tlid hounds at Greytown on Saturday proved very successful. A largo number of members of tho Club were present, and tho run finished on. Mr. John Cotton's property at Riverside. Several spills took place, but no serious damago was done. Mr. W. Buick was master, and Mr. H. Welch huntsman, and Messrs. J. Tilson and A. Crawford laid tho trail.
