General., orders By the New Zealand Defence Council, stato that Lieutenant John Evelyn Duigan, instructor for engineer' services and for signalling companies, will attend at instructional centres as follows:— AVollington, July 17 —31; Canterbury, August 1 —10; Dunedin, August Wellington, August 2i —30; Auckland, September 1—10; Wellington, 'September 12; Nelson September 16. ■ I A, B, and C Companies, Wellington Collego Riflo Cadet Volunteers, have been established on a battalion footing, as No'. 3 Battalion, 'Wellington Defence Rifle Cadet Volunteers. • TJie New Zealand Volunteer Service Medal has. been awarded to Corporal John Stevenson, of tho Tiinaru City Rifles.
,The resignation of • Acting-Captain John Stuart ICent-Johnson, Greytown Rifles, has been accepted. ■
