COALMINING TROUBLE.
KAITANGATA MEN NOT TO STRIKE. DunDtlln, August 12. After the meeting between Mr. Robert Lee, general manager of the Kajtangata Coal Company, and the Kaitangata truckers last night, the previous'resolution in favour of a striko was rescinded. Tho management asserted that Whittaker's dismissal, was due more to his unsuitability than to his refusal to work, and declined to reinstate him.
