ANNUAL MEETINC. At the annual .meeting of the Taratahi Dairy Company (says our Wairarapa .correspondent) the chairman Mr. W. Fisher stated that the output' realised 123 d.' per 'pound of butter fat'for the whole season. The output compared with last season's" showed a decrease of 45 tons 'of cheese, whilo the cash distributions for the same period wero less, by 25 per cent. The averago test was 3.9 against 3.84. The cost of production this season was' 4s. 4d. per cwt., or 5Jd. more than , for the. season" ended • June 30, '1907.f_ < . The question of suppliers selling their niilk privately"instead of taking.it to tho I factory was. discussed, and it was suggosted that as there seemed to be an increasing domand for milk for consumption,, tho .' company' itself might lit up a proper "sterilising plant and. supply .the .milk.. No further, action was taken.'""' The meeting decided to donate five guineas to'-thtf 25-guinea cup which .is being offered under'tho auspices of the .Wairarapa A', arid P. Association in the champion cheese-making competition.
