TySfHEREAS the land mentioned in the »? ■ Schedule hereto is required to bo taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1905," for a certain -public work, to wit, the construction of a public school at Petone: - And whereas the Education Board of Wellington has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by l "The Public Works Act, 1905": Now, therefore, I, William Leo, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of - the powers of "The Public Works Act, 1905," and of.every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for tlie purpose of tho said-public school as aforesaid, and shall, as' from the date hereinafter specified, vost in tho Education Board of Wellington; i>nd it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after tho fourteenth day of August, ono thousand nine hundred and eight.
