LODGE MEETING.
— ♦ Tho fortnightly' lodge meeting of tho Loyal Britannia, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was held on Moilday evening. Tho Noblo Grand, Bro. H. Osborn, presided. Representatives wero ap-, pointed to net on the combined committeo for tho : Friendly Societies' Tournament. August 31 was appointed as the date for competing with tho Loyal Newtown Lodge for possession of the Madeley-Ibbotson games shield, at present held by the Britannia Lodge. Visits were received from • members of'the'Sister Wallis and Wellington Juvenile Lodges, who wero greeted with customary lodge honours. A musical programme interspersed with games, 1 otoi/kept all amused, and a. very pleasant evening was spent. Various items -were contributed by Sisters Webber end Foster, Bros. Dentrice, Wise, Perrin, Hilliker, Hoer, Proud, and Powell. Bro. A. S:'Hilliker was an, excellent accompanist. ..
