BELVEDERE PAYS 12Jd. In the course of his speech at the annual meeting of the Belvedere Cheese Company, Carterton, tho Chairman of Directors, Mr. G. Stevens, stated that during the past season the falling off in the milk supply had reduced the 1 output by 30 tons, compared with the results of the previous season. Prices had ranged lower on tho' London market, and tho result was a return of one half-penny per pound less for butter-fat. On tho wholo season tho payment would bo Is. OJd. per lb. of butter-fat, a return which tho Chairman did not think would bo equalled by many other. factories.
