(Before Dr. A. McAxthur, S.M.) CLAIJI FOR GOODS SUPPLIED. Read and Fenwick (Mr. Ward) sued Walter E. Glover (Mr. Toogood) for £10 os. 4d. for goods supplied. _ Defendant did. not deny that he had received tho goods from plaintiffs, but alleged that plaintiffs, with others, agroed to' accept _10s. in the £ in payment of the debt.. Plaintiffs denied having entered into any such arrangement with defendant. His Worship held that plaintiffs had entered iuto an arrangement as stated by defendant, along with other creditors. Plaintiffs would be nonsuited. No costs were allowed.

At the Mount Cook Police Court yesterday Mr. J. Collins, J.P., dealt with lour first offenders for drunkenness, two forfeiting their bail and two being fined 55., or 24 hours' imprisonment.
