The departure from Ottawa of Lord Roberts, who was one of the British represontatives at the Tercentenary celebrations, was marked by enthusiastic scenes. The streets ,were packed by cheering crowds. Lord Dudley, the new Governor-General of Australia, has left Ottawa for Vancouver.
