In tho Capo Colony Assembly Mr. Viljoon moved his resolution with regard to Australian prohibition of South African fodder, expressing tho opinion that the reasons givon by Australia for tlio restrictions on tho importation of Capo forago aro unsatisfactory, and that if. restrictions aro necessary in Australia similar reasons exist for restricting the entry of Australian produce into Capo
Colony.' This was agreed \to without dissent. An additional clauso in the original motion, advocating discontinuance of the differential arrangement between South Africa and Australia, was withdrawn. j
