KOROWHENUA HACK. RACING CLUB. The Horowhenua Hack Racing Club has provided a very attractive programme for its annual meeting to; bo'held at Levin on Sep- : tember 9 and 10. The principal event at \ the meeting is tho Horowhenua an open \ race of 150 1 sovs.,' run over, a mile and a' : furlong course. .Tho other open events are • the AVeraroa Handicap, of 100 sovs., one , mile;, the Park Stakes/; of 80 soys., , sis furlongs; and the Levin Handicap, 60 sovs.,. five furlongs. Hacks are exceptionally well: provided for, there being'four flat races and one' hurdle race "on, each day's. programme: set aside for' this class, of horse. .
