During tlio galo a French Canadian named Legros had a thrilling adventure.. Ho was fishing at Newcastle, and was blown out to sea, where ho passed a terrible night. The lookout on the steamer Colao heard cries just before dawn, 20 miles east of Nowcastlc. The steamer hove to till daylight, and discovered and rescued Legros. STEAMER MAREEBA. BIG SEAS BREAKING OVER HER, Sydney, August 4. ■ Big seas are breaking oyer the A.TJ.S.N.
