OPERA HOUSE,. "Her Love against the; World" was produced again at the Opera House last night by the Meynell and Gunn. Company. Tho house was a- fair one, ■ and -applause was liberally bestowed. To-night ''Her' Love against the World". will. concjude • a - successful- run, of eight nights. To-morrow night Dumas popular play "Caimlle'-'-.will bo staged lor two nights only and the revival promises to bo a .conspicuous success ias the booking has been particularly heavy.-Miss M'lhtosh's l.? mo r, lu •' e - name - part has .already, reached the Dominion, and an exponent of so diffi.l. role—who has won' the . appreciation or critics should.bo accorded'.a most cordial "reception. Miss M'lritosh "seems to have pleased both by hor interpretation of tho complex character and the • subtle charm with which she invests the role. So popular and -artistic an _actor as; Mr.. . Harcourt Beatty cannot fail to fulfil the requirements °j - the • part; of' Arma'nd ; Duvalj . and from all accounts his presentment ■ has been a positive-success. The other : characters will be .filled ,by Mr. Ga'stbn- Men-ale as the Comte do Var'ville,: 'Mr.'.Torn Cannam as Gaston, Miss Winifred Gunn. as Nanirie, Miss Norah Delaney as. Madame. Prudence, etc. Particular attention has been -paid to the staging of the play in. the hands! of so experienced a stage manager as Mr. Gaston Mervale. . During.the progress of. the four acts Miss M'lntosh is said to wear some magnificent ; gowns. For Friday- and' Saturday the popular military-drama f'The Midnight Wedding" will "bb presented' for two nights- with a revival of ."Fedora" for - a similar period. ■ The ■. production ■of ' "A' Beggar' on' Horseback" will , conclude the season, plans 'for which'are now open' at the Dresden. THEATRE ROYAL, ': '.' . Fuller's . .entertainment -/at the. Theatre' Royal is an excellent cure for,brain fag,.and, a'good; all-round; way of . obtaining'an evening's entertainment.
