GISBORNE MUD GEYSERS.
. (BT TELEGRAPH—rRESS ASSOCIATION.) STILL IN ACTIVE ERUPTION. GiEborne, August 3.. Tho Waimata mud geysers are .still active, playing to a height of 60ft. The mud that has boon thrown up .must total nearly 150,000 tons, for it has covered some six or peven acrcs of the busily filled up n creek, ancl is lying 40ft. deep in places. Ono of tho residents lighted gas coming from tho geyser onq day last week, nml it burnt with a volumo of ilamo for hours.
