' A telegram from Guthrio, Oklahoma, gives particulars of a raco riot between negroes and whites which took placo at Clep Springs, in which thirteen negroes and six whites have been killed. , Tho affair grow out of tho killing, in a quarrel, of Sheriff Garrison, by two ndgroes, named Jim Kingsbury and Alfred Hunter. Through the assistance of their friends tho two murderers escaped, and a posso of sheriffs'was sent after thorn. When tho latter camo upon tho nogroes it was found that thoy, had been reinforced, and had taken up a strong position in tho hills, The negroes wero 'fajrly woll armed, and carried on a battlo with the officers for some hours. 1 Tho whites sent for moro men, and were reinforced by several hundreds, so that in the end tho negroes wero overpowered. Several of tho lattor, however, escaped.
