A special representative of tho "Herald" states that a great deal of trouble has been experienced on tho Woyby-Wcllsford section of tho North Auckland Line, numerous embankments having slipped out, while several cuttings havo almost boon filled up by land slips. In some instances in the case of tie cuttings tho slips havo 'commenced for a chain or more back from tho banks. Gangs of mon are now: engaged in tunnelling underneath some of tho damaged embankments to carry drainago channels • through, but it will be some considerable time before the Wolisford section enn bo opened for traffic
