A meeting of the Paka Koura Hockey. Club was held 011 Tuesday night, when a credit balance of £9 10s. Bd. was reported from the recont social. Sheen was granted a month's leave of' absence. A hearty vote of thanks was accordcd the Maryborough Brigado for an invitation to its fortnightly, assemblies! The United Fire Brigado Association wrote that it was offering prizes for the best written essay on any three subjects stipulated in a, circular-from them.
