A RAID BY ROBBERS.

Three armed strangers, reported to bo Italians, , entered a drinking saloon at Jamaica Plain, noar Boston, shot a man dead, wounded two men, and rifled the cash register. One. of the robbers was arrested. The other two decamped. Nest evening the two bandits re-entered tho town intending to rescuo their comrade. A crowd tried to capture the bandits, who shot indiscriminately, killing a man and woundinig several, inoludmg three police and a woman with a baby in ller arms. Tho desperadoes hid in a cemetery, which 500 police" surrounded with instructions toshoot at sight. Tho quarry fought desperately. One was killed, and tho other was dangerously wounded and captured.
