As the timo approaches for the collective, exhibition and the display, much greater enthusiasm is being shown in the movement by both manufacturers and shopkeepers. It has practically-been-decided by the spaco committee to. recommend that tho building of an annex should be proceeded with at once, in order to provide for a numbor of applications in excess of those anticipated for the main building: Though'applications for space were tp; have_ closed on Wednesday, numerous inquiries are still reaching' th o secretary,' and efforts 1 are to- be "made to accommodate all intending- exhibitors. Generally, the exhibits will be; of a very/varied and interesting character, and' will comprise an extensivo and attractive show. The question ,of tho erection of the tea room will .be considered to-dav, when the general management committee will meet - reports from tho'various sub-committees. . . .
