FIGURES FOR PAST QUARTER. -- • The ' Gazette published yesterday, contains tho return of postal and telegraphic rovonuo collected for tho quarter'ended Juno 30 last. Tho total postal revenuo for tho period mentioned amounts to £114,127 19s. lOJd.j as compared with £109,010 ss. for tho corresponding quarter of last year. An oven groater increaso. is shown in . the telegraphicrovonuo, the past quarter's total amounting to £228,020 10s. 4d., as against £212,361 7s. GJd. for tho second quarter of 1907.
