RANCITIKEI RACING CLUB.

The programrao in connection with the Spring Meeting of the Rangitikei Racing Club, to bo held on September 16 and 17, is of a varied character, with liberal stakes attached. Thero aru seven events set down for each day, and a noticeable increase has been made in all the hack events. In the Ngatiapa Hack Steeplechase, (second day) the first monoy will bo £75, an incrcaso of £15. Tho open ovcnts on the first day ore the Flying Handicap of £80 (an increaso of £10), , Rangitikei Steeplechase of £150, and tho Spring Handicap of £110, and the hack races laroWillowbank Steeplechase of £SO, Pukohou Hurdles £70, Maiden Flat £50, and ltangitoto Raco £70. With tho' exception of tho Maiden. theso ovcnts each show an increase of £10. Thero aro two cross-country events on tho- second day—tho Clifton Steeplechaso (open) of £120, and tho Ngatiapa Hack Steeples already'referred to. The other races which niako up tho attractive programme aro: —Hack Hurdles £70, Telegraph Handicap (open) £70, ICilloymoon Hack £60, September Handicap (open) £110. and Welter Hack £70. Nominations for all ovcnts will close with Mr. H. A. Goodnii (secretary), at Hulls, on Friday, August 21.
