Electoral Act making 'it for any candidato for Parliamentary ■ honours -to make ■ donations ivithin three months of. au election.—(Otago.)" • ■ ■ That the Conference;is; of opinion' that it is not .desirable to -subsidise any : shippiug company, and urge the Government to take the nocessary steps to carry .their ..oversea mails.—(Canterbury.) . ■ That the Government bo congratulated ou the introduction of the Tramways Amendment Act of 'last session, arid that the Premier be urged to re-introduce the measure this session and pass it into l*w. —(Auckland.) ■ - The Conference to pass a resolution affirming the citizens' right to employment at a living wage,—(Canterbury.) ; That the Government, be urged to so amond the Municipal Corporation Act t-o provido that the- duties of a borough or suburban building inspector shall include 1 the issuing of certificates showing the class of material a building, is composed of, tho said certificate 1 to bo'filed "in the Borough Council's office for inspection—(Auckland.) ' ;■ ■•.! ' That this Conference reraffirm tho principle of rating on unimproved value, also re-' affirm the rosolution passed at tho 1905 Conference, .viz. '. That the Workers' Compensation for Accidents Act shall' provide' that where a worker by'reason'of injury is per-; manently incapacitated from following • his •' own trade or occupation; lie- shall be en- ' titled to draw the full amount allowed by ; the Act, and ( that in such cases the name '■ of-the . trade or "calling in whioh the:- worker was injured be specified.—(Auckland.)
