$ — - THE ENGINEERS' DISPUTE. RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD. 1 . The Conciliation Board filed its rccomrncnda- \ tion in'th# Engineers' ■ disputo yesterday.. Over 100 employers havo been"cited. Following are tho main provisions:— . . Hours of Labour to tho provisions relating to overtime, tho week's work ' shall not exceed forty-sevoulioiirs, i.e.,' eight and a half on five ■ day's;' 1 and four and 'a : half oi,Saturday. . - Wages.—Subject to clause 10, no journeyman shall: rccaive ' I'ess than ; ls.- 5d.-. por ■ hour. • ' 1 ' Classification-of Labour.— I Tho only classes of labour. recognised under this award shall bo journeymen and apprentices.
