Robertson and Co. bo accepted for tho supply of: an iron horse roller for the Kelburne Park; that tho application of the Victoria College Tournament Committee for tho use of tho Basiii Reserve on Easter Monday, April 12, 1909, bo held ovor until a lator period; that fencing and turnstiles be erected . .at.Grass/ Street. . Tho roport was adopted. The Finance and Property Committee recommended:—That tho offer of Mr. H."M. Hayward to sell to tho Council some strips of lang fronting'Lyoll Bay Boad and Haugliton liay, bo not entertained; that'a full set of tho G.azotto La.w Reports.bo.obtained for tho City Solicitor's Office; that'the Town Clerk's annual report bo printed and circn'ated; that accounts amounting to £4829 Cs. 9d. be passed for payment. Tho Power Stations, and Tramways Committee recommended: —That tho annual report of tho Electrical Tramway Engineer be printed, with tho summary of accounts of tho Tramway Department; that tho plan of tho olficc. accommodation for tho Trartiway and Lighting Departments in Harris Street be, approved;'that tho lease of tho tenfnbrarv pay-in oflico 'at Thonidon bo renewed until' December 31, 1908. The Mayor, in. moving the adoption of the : report, stated that the cost of providing the office accommodation for tho Traipway' and Lighting Departments in Harris Streot would bo between £400 and £500. . : ..The roport was adopted.
