MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
The weekly ambulance meeting took placo a( the Missions to Seamen Institute last night, when a large audience was present. The Missioner (Mr. James Moore) presided, and during the evening showed the art of bandaging fractures, sprains, and cuts, also referring to health matters. Competitions in relation to ambulance work were won by sailors from ships _in port. A programme of music was provided by Mr. Gerald Bell; the following contributing items :-Mrs. de la Mare, Misses M. Simpson, C. Simpson, Messrs. A. M'Donald i ? Trezise. Miss C. Simpson acted as accompanist. The • performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks at the conclusion.
