MR. KEIR HARDIE.
BACKED UP BY-, THE LABOUR PARTY, GARDEN PARTY'INCIDENT. (BT TEI-EGEAPH—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT.) (Rec. July 10, 11.20 p.m.) London, July 10. The Labour party consider that tho omission of Mr. Koir Hardio (who recently attacked the Anglo-Russian rapprochment) from tho list of those invited to a rcccnt garden party, at WinplW is an attempt on the part of'tho Court to interfer with tho freedom of debato in tho Houso of Commons. The Labour party has thereforo associated itself with his action in tho Houso of Commons regarding tho meting at Reval, and has requested tho Lord Chamberlain to omit the members of the Labour party from similar functions, until Mr. Keir- Bardie's name is restored to tho list. Mr. Keir Hardio, in a debate in tho House of Commons, applied to the acts of tho Tsar's Government, the word "atrocities," ivhicli ha was'compelled to withdraw. The Speaker would not accept from him an amendment threatening to-withdraw the Ambassador from St. Petersburg.
