POULTRY SHOW.
The twenty-sixth annual show, of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society was continued yesterday, but the attendance was only moderate. • The judges caressed themselves as very pleased with the quality of the entries. . There was an increase in all classes except poultry, whic'a decreased by 30 per cent., probably owing to the high price of feed. Notwithstanding', this falling off, the entries totalled 912,. an- inoreaso of 100 upon last year's figures. The fallowing completes'the prize-list:— ' SPECIAL PRIZES ■' . Gill's trophy., for -best Silver Spangled Hamburg.—Mr. R.' W. Howison. Mr. T. R. Boyes's trophy for best hen or 'pullet.—Mr. C.' F. Hiynes. . Trophy, for best White: Wyandotte.—Mr. W. J.' Smith.' ,

"Karori" trophy for' Cinnamon Yorkshire Canary.—Mr. J..T.Andrews. ; Mr. Hayne's trophy, for most 'points in long distance, classes.—Mr. J. J. Elliott.
